Scanning without leaving your site

Your artist stays on your site. The widget fires an event when the scan is done, you store the tattoo ID on your side.

How it works

  1. Partner account & key

    Sign up as a platform and create an API key in the partner area.

  2. Create an artist

    PUT /my/artists/{your-id} with the display name.

  3. Start a scan session

    POST …/scan-sessions returns a link for the scan widget, valid for 2 hours.

  4. Show it

    Embed viewer and portfolio widgets on your site, control publishing via API.

Authentication

Your server sends the key in the X-Api-Key header. Never use the key in the browser. Create keys in the partner area.

Widgets

One script loads all widgets on the page. Each widget is a div with data attributes.

Pricing

Billed per scan: one scan credit unlocks a full-quality 3D scan with download and permanent storage. Credits from one-time purchases never expire.

Questions and answers

Do we get access to Inkmirra artists?

No, that's not what this is about. You use Inkmirra as technology for your own artists. Their scans stay with you and never appear on Inkmirra.

Do our artists need an Inkmirra account?

No. You create them via API with your own ID. The scan widget works without login, using a session link your server creates.

Who collects consent from the people wearing the tattoos?

You, as the platform operator. New scans start unpublished. Only with published=true do they show in the portfolio widget.

How is it billed?

By scan sessions per month: 10 for testing without a plan, 60 with Platform Starter (€199), 200 with Platform Growth (€449), 500 with Platform Pro (€899), 1,200 and more with Enterprise on request. For peaks there are session packs: 100 sessions for €199, 500 for €799, valid for 12 months and only used after the monthly quota. All prices net. API requests are counted separately.

Are there webhooks?

Not yet. The scan widget fires a browser event when the scan is done. Server-side, check the status via GET /my/tattoos/{id}.
